Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan still had a solid performance despite losing the first game of the 2012 season. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a solid performance in Week 10, in a very competitive division game with the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons and Saints are the class of the NFC South, as both teams feature two of the better passers in the league. Ryan broke 400 yards passing on Sunday, and threw 3 touchdowns.
It was not an immaculate performance -- Ryan tossed one interception. But for the most part, he is a major reason for the Falcons ripping off 8-straight wins to start the season.
Fantasy Analysis: In 2012, Matt Ryan is a top-tier fantasy quarterback. Ryan is the face of the franchise, as the organization has clearly built around him. With weapons like Roddy White, Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez, Michael Turner and Jacquizz Rodgers, it's easy for Ryan to rack up the points.
Regardless of the opponent, Ryan remains a must-start on a weekly basis. He should continue to thrive with his perimeter weapons.
