Reggie Bush had just four carries for 21 yards and one reception for eight yards during the Dolphins' blowout loss to the Titans on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Reggie Bush was held to just four carries for 21 yards and one reception for eight yards during the Miami Dolphins' blowout loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Daniel Thomas saw more touches out of the backfield, picking up 21 yards rushing on five carries and 34 yards receiving off five catches.
Bush has yet to pick up over 100 yards of total offense in a single since Week 2, which also happens to be the last time he has scored a touchdown this season. He has no support from the passing game Sunday, as rookie Ryan Tannehill threw three interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: Tannehill's struggles put the Dolphins in a hole they couldn't dig themselves out from. Still, it was interesting that the team turned to Thomas more often than Bush. The Dolphins have been splitting touches more or less equally over the last three games, which has essentially negates the upside of both backs.
Next week's game against the Buffalo Bills looks like a prime matchup, but then again so did the Titans. Deploy Bush and/or Thomas at your own risk.
