Matt Schaub struggled Sunday in the rain as the Texans beat the Bears, going 14-for-26 passing for 95 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Matt Schaub went 14-for-26 passing for 95 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions as the Houston Texans beat the Chicago Bears in a rain-soaked game on Sunday Night Football. Schaub's lone touchdown came on a goal-line pass to Arian Foster in the second quarter.

Schaub's yardage was easily a season low, as was his 3.7 yards per attempt. He had more interceptions than touchdowns for just the second time this season. He threw two picks to no touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers in Week 6.

Fantasy Impact: Schaub deserves a mulligan for Sunday night considering the nasty weather conditions, not to mention the fact that the Bears have been making quarterbacks look terrible all season. Schaub is usually a decent backup/QB2 in most leagues, with the Texans' reliance on a potent running game is holding him back somewhat.

The Texans take on a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that is on the exact opposite end of the spectrum as the Bears. Schaub could be a solid fantasy starter against a shaky secondary.
