Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was resting on Monday, a day after sustaining a concussion in the loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Vick will undergo more tests and has not been ruled out for Week 11, according to Eagles coach Andy Reid. Vick was knocked out of Sunday's game on a hit in the second quarter and was replaced by Nick Foles, who went 22 of 32 for 219 yards and a touchdown. Foles also threw an interception.
Reid, who had faced questions in recent weeks about Vick's role as the starter, said Monday that Vick's concussion was significant and that he didn't expect Vick at practice on Wednesday. Philadelphia faces Washington on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Reid continues to stress that Vick is the team's quarterback but this injury will make it a lot easier for the team to evaluate Foles. Vick hasn't been ruled out but fantasy owners should be preparing for him not to play against the Redskins.
Foles has more value in dynasty leagues and keeper formats and would be a No. 2 quarterback in Week 11.
