Darren McFadden could be back sooner than expected for fantasy owners

Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE

Darren McFadden might be able to play in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Darren McFadden is expected to be back in Week 11 for the Raiders. Their No. 1 running back suffered a high-ankle sprain against Tampa Bay and sat out this past weekend.

High-ankle sprains typically take longer than one week to heal. No word has been given on his status by the Raiders.

Fantasy Impact: This could just be speculation, so you should at least wait to see how he fares in practice this week to before getting your hopes up. McFadden wasn't running well behind the Raiders offensive line before the injury. He's still nowhere near he status from last season.

Fortunately the Raiders play the Saints in Week 11. If McFadden does play, he could finally be in for a breakout game.
