Darren McFadden still in walking boot as fantasy status remains up in the air

Cary Emondson-US PRESSWIRE

Darren McFadden was still wearing a walking boot a week after suffering a high ankle sprain, making his status for Week 11 shaky. We break down the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) was still wearing a walking boot on Monday, reports Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times. McFadden sat out Sunday's game after suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 9. He hopes to come back this week, but it could come down to a game time decision at best.

McFadden has 139 carries for just 455 rushing yards and two TDs on the season.

Fantasy Impact: In a way, this is almost comforting--fantasy owners are so used to DMC being on the injury reports that it felt almost weird when he was healthy in the first half of the season.

We'll continue to monitor DMC's progress. If he's able to practice this week, he's a decent fantasy start against the Saints defense.
