Jamaal Charles breaks slump for fantasy owners against Steelers

Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE

Jamaal Charles rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown in a Monday Night Football matchup that was tough to watch.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was one of the only relevant fantasy performers when his team played the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football.

Charles rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on the night, breaking a long fantasy slump.

Fantasy Impact: Jamaal Charles will continue to be an inconsistent fantasy performer for a variety of reasons. He is stuck in a terrible offense and his coach limits his snap count.

The Chiefs are going to be overmatched in most games this season. It's tough for Charles to pile up carries when his team is trailing constantly and forced to throw. For some reason, he isn't as involved in the passing game as he should be. His talent alone makes him a weekly fantasy start, though.
