Robert Griffin III injury: Fantasy value is fine, ribs are fine

Patrick Smith

The star rookie seems like a good bet to start against Philadelphia on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III says that he's 'fine' in regards to a rib injury and seems ready to go against the Eagles in Week 11. Griffin had X-rays done on his ribs after Week 9 and they came out negative, which is positive.

The Redskins meet the Eagles in Week 11.

Fantasy Take: Griffin hasn't been a source for much fantasy pleasure in the last two games, accounting for just one total touchdown. The Eagles defense is right around the median, but they've allowed 14 touchdown passes in nine games.

This could be a good opportunity for RG3, who has just eight touchdown passes in nine games. He's a solid start for Week 11.
