Oakland Raiders wide receiver Derrius Heyward-Bey was limited in Wednesday's practice. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Oakland Raiders wide out Derrius Heyward-Bey was limited in Wednesday's practice, per Steve Corkran. The Raiders receiver reportedly strained his hamstring in practice and was limited from there on out. He was not completely removed from practice, which is a good sign.
However, it would not be good if DHB were to be downgraded on Thursday or Friday. The Raiders will monitor his status as they prepare for the New Orleans Saints in Week 11.
Fantasy Analysis: The injury to Heyward-Bey is not good for his fantasy value, which was already limited. On a struggling Raiders team, DHB has failed to get it going for the offense and has not been the impact performer he was brought in to be.
Even against a leaky Saints defense on Sunday, Heyward-Bey may not be the best fantasy option. At best, he will function as a low-end flex option or last minute bye-week filler.
