Calvin Johnson returns to Lions practice: Fantasy implications

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) practiced on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson returned to practice on Thursday, a day after sitting out to rest his sore knee. The Lions have routinely given Johnson rest days during the season, although the star wide receiver has not missed a game.

Johnson in the last two weeks has combined for 19 catches, 336 yards and a touchdown. Detroit faces the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson has been a fantasy star the last two weeks for the Lions and there was never a concern that he would miss Sunday's game against the Packers. Johnson has had a number of days off this season and has still produced -- with the exception of touchdowns -- at a high level.

Johnson, as usual, is at the top of the wide receiver fantasy rankings for Week 11 and remains a must-start in all formats.
