Stephen Hill misses second straight practice with Illness: Fantasy implications

Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE

Stephen Hill will miss practice Thursday due to an illness. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stephen Hill will miss practice Thursday due to illness, according to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. Hill was sent home during practice Wednesday after getting sick. There has been no word on what, exactly, is plaguing Hill.

There is no official word yet on Hill's status for Sunday's game between the New York Jets and the St. Louis Rams, either. We should know more once he is given an injury designation on Friday's injury report.

Fantasy Impact: If Hill is able to practice Friday, it stands to reason that he will suit up against the Rams. Once he gets over whatever is ailing him, he should be back at 100 percent. Be sure to check back for more on Hill's status, though he isn't much of fantasy option in standard leagues, anyway. He was held without a reception despite playing 33 snaps against the Seattle Seahawks last week.
