Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has a chance to be the latest rookie quarterback to beat the Washington Redskins. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Redskins have lost 8 straight games against rookie starting quarterbacks, which is the longest streak since at least 1970.
Foles is expected to start in Week 11 because of Michael Vick's concussion. Foles gained fan support with his strong play in the preseason. Washington defensive coordinator Jim Haslett said Thursday that Foles can make all the throws and that he has to be treated like he's played in the league.
Fantasy Impact: Washington's struggling defense should help Foles on Sunday, although fantasy owners should not put him in their lineups this week unless it's absolutely necessary.
Foles is a better value in dynasty and keeper formats than he is for Week 11. He should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback on Sunday.
