C.J. Spiller is benefiting from Fred Jackson's absence on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.
C.J. Spiller single-handedly outgained the entire Dolphins offense in the first half on Thursday Night Football. That should be a good indication to his performance so far.
Spiller carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards and caught two passes for another 37 yards. He started busting off several big runs down the stretch in the second quarter, providing a promise outlook for his second half numbers.
Fantasy Impact: All Spiller owners were extremely eager to see him play outside of his timeshare in Week 11. Chan Gailey said he would like to get Spiller 20-30 touches heading into this game, and it looks like that mark will easily be achieved.
The Bills red zone offense continues to stall, but Spiller looks like he's bound to break off scoring run here eventually. He should be in for another strong showing coming out of halftime.
