Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE
Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) is hoping to return in a couple of weeks from a sprained foot. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) went on FOX Sports Radio Friday to discuss his injury. Jones-Drew said he definitely won't be out for the year and is hoping to be back in a couple of weeks.
Jones-Drew hasn't played since suffering an arch sprain in his foot in Week 7. He has 86 carries for 414 yards and one TD on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Even at 1-8, the Jaguars would love to get MJD back and give their offense a pulse, because Rashad Jennings just isn't getting it done (2.8 YPC in his last four games).
For the most part, it sounds like MJD is eyeing a Week 13 return, just in time for the fantasy playoffs to start, so keep stashing him. As for Jennings, don't bother with him this week against the Houston defense.
