Owen Daniels expected to start in Week 11: Fantasy Implications

Thomas B. Shea

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels has an excellent chance to play this Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels is expected to start this Sunday, per Nick Scurfield. Daniels has been listed as a game time decision, but all indications say he'll suit up versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

The Texans tight end has been sidelined by a hip injury but practiced in full this week. He has been a dynamic player for Houston this year and should once again be a factor on game day.

Fantasy Analysis: With Daniels expected to play, he should be in your starting lineup. The Houston tight end is a pure pass-catcher for the team, which is great for fantasy. Given his presence in the offense, Daniels is essentially the team's No. 2 wide receiver behind Andre Johnson.

He could be in line for a monster day against the suspect Jaguars defense. Owen Daniels is a TE1 in all fantasy formats.
