Darrius Heyward-Bey is a game-time decision: Fantasy Implications

Hannah Foslien

Oakland Raiders wide out Darrius Heyward-Bey has been listed as a game-time decision. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey has been listed as a game time decision, per Jerry McDonald. The Raiders pass-catcher sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday's practice, causing him to be held out of Thursday and Friday's sessions.

Although Heyward-Bey has not been officially ruled out, the feeling is that he will be a scratch come game day. Derek Hagan is listed behind DHB on the depth chart.

Fantasy Analysis: It's getting harder and harder to rely on Heyward-Bey. His 2012-13 campaign has been plagued by bad luck, injuries and overall team inconsistency. He has not been a reliable fantasy option this season, and shouldn't be expected to be in Week 11.

While the Raiders are set to play the porous Saints defense, fantasy owners should be looking elsewhere for fantasy points.
