Green Bay Packers running back Alex Green did not practice on Friday with what was called as a knee injury. Green was listed as probable and is expected to be available for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.
Green lost his starting job to James Starks, but will still see playing time as a backup.
Fantasy Impact: Holding Green out of practice seems to be a preventative measure by the Packers coaches and it does not seem like he will be slowed on Sunday.
Still, as mentioned, Green has lost his starting job to James Starks. Green still got 11 carries and two receptions as the No. 2 running back against the Cardinals, but he will not get enough guaranteed touches to be a viable fantasy option.
