Tony Gonzalez remains fantasy gold with 'probable' Week 11 status

Rob Carr

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez was listed as probable on the team's injury report. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez was listed as probable on the team's injury report Friday. The veteran pass-catcher should be good to go on Sunday, despite being listed with a shoulder injury.

Gonzalez was a full participant in Friday's practice, which is a good sign for his Week 11 status. The Falcons will face the Arizona Cardinals, and should have all of their receiving threats.

Fantasy Analysis: Tony Gonzalez has been having a stellar year with the Falcons, as the team has been thriving. The evolution of Matt Ryan and this offense has really benefited Gonzalez. He has been a threat to gather receptions, yards and touchdowns.

Consider the polished vet a No. 1 fantasy tight end in Week 11, and probably for the rest of 2012.
