Santana Moss injury update: Probable for Week 11, still iffy in fantasy

Jonathan Daniel

Washington Redskins wide out Santana Moss is set to return in Week 11. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Washington Redskins wide out Santana Moss was listed as probable on the team's injury report this week. After suffering a concussion, Moss appears ready to return this week.

In Week 11, the Skins will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a pivotal division battle in the NFC East. This is good news for Washington who will need all of their weapons come Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis: It's great news that Moss is returning, but the Washington receivers have been difficult to predict this season. Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III likes to spread the ball around and challenge defenses. Each week, there seems to be a different receiver thriving in that offense.

And with the return of Pierre Garcon this week, starting Moss is not an advisable fantasy move. You might want to see how Moss works with Garcon before committing a roster spot to him.
