Antonio Brown Injury Update: Fantasy implications of his absence for Sunday

Jim O'Connor-US PRESSWIRE

Antonio Brown will not play on Sunday. Could Emmanuel Sanders step it up?

Antonio Brown (ankle) will not play on Sunday after not practice all week. He could miss another week with his high-ankle sprain.

Brown was a disappointment so far this year with just 42 catches on 65 targets. His stats include 499 receiving yards and one TD.

Fantasy Impact: Brown could be out for even longer than this week and the Steelers will need him back in a hurry to give Byron Leftwich an option with a zone buster like Brown. Brown has been a letdown so far after his 69-catch breakout year last season.

Emmanuel Sanders will get the start and he should see a lot of snaps. Although, Byron Leftwich at quarterback will make him tough to start in most formats. It wouldn't be a shock to see Sanders and Leftwich develop a rapport since they worked on the second unit while the team was healthy.
