Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been ruled out of Sunday's game. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been ruled out of Sunday's game versus the New Orleans Saints. The Raiders' feature back has been suffering from an ankle injury, and it will keep him on the sidelines once again in Week 11.
McFadden is one of the top backs in the league; it's a shame that he's had problems staying healthy. Marcel Reece will continue to fill in during his absence.
Fantasy Analysis: On draft day, McFadden seemed like a great pick for fantasy owners. However, he has had issues with durability the past two seasons and it's really affected his ability as a fantasy threat.
On the bright side, Reece seems like a solid fantasy option this week. He has done a fine job filling in for McFadden, as an all-purpose threat who can both run and catch. If you can get your hands on Reece, start him in place of McFadden today.
