Aaron Hernandez to be inactive, as expected: Fantasy implications

Otto Greule Jr

Aaron Hernandez will officially not suit up against the Colts in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) will officially be inactive against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, reports Greg Bedard of the Boston Globe. This will be Hernandez' sixth missed game of the season as he struggles with a lingering ankle injury suffered back in Week 2. Just like last week, he got limited practice in before being ruled out on Friday.

Hernandez' status remains week-to-week.

Fantasy Impact: For whatever reason, his sprained ankle just isn't healing up, and we have no idea when he will play again this season, if ever.

Things won't get any easier this week, when the Patriots draw the Thanksgiving evening game. I don't expect him to play on a short week either. He remains a roster stash in fantasy..
