Rob Gronkowski already had surgery on his broken forearm that he injured in Week 11 against the Colts. He will now be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, missing most of the remainder of the regular season.
Gronkowski's absence should boost Aaron Hernadez's numbers when he returns to the field.
Fantasy Impact: Hernandez is expected to be back after Thanksgiving, so Tom Brady will at least have one of his star tight ends to rely on. Gronkowski won't be back until the end of the fantasy playoffs for the majority of leagues.
If Gronk can return in four weeks, owners will get have him back for their championships. If your league ends in Week 17, you get two starts out of him at best.
