Denarius Moore out of sync with Carson Palmer, fantasy value hurting

Thearon W. Henderson

Denarius Moore and Carson Palmer were not on the same page in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Raiders No. 1 receiver failed to make much on impact against the Saints in Week 11. Denarius Moore caught just one pass for nine yards, and aside from drawing a pass interference penalty in the end zone, he stayed quiet throughout the afternoon.

Carson Palmer noted the two haven't been in sync at times, as three targets on Sunday went nowhere near Moore. The two are still working on routes together after Moore missed training camp and part of the preseason with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact: Moore has scored in five games this season, so to say these two aren't of the same page is a bit of an overstatement. Still, it was apparent on Sunday they have plenty of work to do with their communication.

Palmer continues to praise Moore, and he will keep targeting him often each week. His one-catch performance will likely be an aberration going forward.
