Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) is very questionable for Week 12, coach Mike Mularkey said on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is "very questionable" for Week 12, according to Mike Mularkey but the coach stopped short of ruling him out of Sunday's game with the Tennessee Titans. Jones-Drew has missed the last four games for Jacksonville because of a foot injury. He has said he hopes to play again this season.
Jones-Drew last played against the Oakland Raiders in Week 7, finishing with six yards on two carries. Jalen Parmele had 24 carries and 80 yards on Sunday to lead Jacksonville in rushing.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners can't be counting on Jones-Drew, who has been regularly ruled out early in the week since hurting his foot. Jones-Drew is hoping he can return soon but it's still not clear when, or if, that will happen.
Jacksonville's running backs have little fantasy value at this point, although Parmele could become a low-end flex play in deeper leagues if he shows he can be productive.
