Colin Kaepernick does not look like a man making his first career start.
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is making his first NFL start against the Chicago Bears on Monday night, but you wouldn't know it from watching him. At the time of this writing, Kaep has completed 7 of 8 passes for 114 yards, a TD and a perfect 158.3 QB Rating.
The best part? It's still halfway through the first quarter.
Fantasy Impact: We may have a bona fide QB controversy in San Francisco. With Alex Smith out with a concussion, Kaep has looked as poised as a 10-year veteran, going through his reads and standing tall in the pocket. His TD pass was a beautiful rainbow strike to Vernon Davis.
The Niners lead 10-0 early, and Kaep is the big reason why.
