Colin Kaepernick has a solid first half against the Bears for fantasy owners

Thearon W. Henderson

Colin Kapernick has had a successful first start for the San Francisco 49ers.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick came out firing in the team's game on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Kaepernick went 12-of-15 passing for 184 yards and one touchdown in the first half.

The 49ers have completely dominated the Bears in the first half, storming out to a 20-0 lead with their backup quarterback at the helm.

Fantasy Impact: Kaepernick is an interesting fantasy option because of his ability to run the football and the prowess he has shown as a passer.

The 49ers' passing offense hasn't missed a beat with him at the helm. The only player who has taken a step back is Michael Crabtree, who hasn't been as heavily targeted since the quarterback switch.
