Matt Forte has struggled in the first half against the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte is perhaps the biggest victim of Jason Campbell's ineptitude. At halftime against the San Francisco 49ers, Forte has 11 carries for just 35 yards. He's been consistently stuffed by the Niners' ferocious defense, and Jason Campbell's horrendous performance has not helped matters.
Chicago trails 20-0 at the half as the offense has put up a laughable 35 total yards.
Fantasy Impact: It's a game to forget for Forte and the Bears in general. With such a large deficit early, I don't expect them to rely on the run game much longer, so get ready for more Campbell shenanigans.
Fantasy owners should write off this game. It's just not Forte's week.
