Matt Cassel struggled yet again in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Cassel did not throw a single touchdown pass on Thursday night against the Chargers. The Chiefs' starting quarterback completed 19 of 29 passes for 181 yards and one interception that was returned 59 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
With Brady Quinn out, Cassel took back the starting job. However, that may not last when Quinn returns.
Fantasy Impact: Does it really matter which one of these guys is under center in Kansas City? Both have looked terrible in 2012, and the Chiefs' offense is an embarrassment week after week.
If you hadn't figured it out by now, Cassel isn't a good option for your fantasy lineup. Regardless of his matchup, you shouldn't be considering starting, or owning Cassel, at all.
