Ryan Tannehill questionable for Sunday: Fantasy implications

Alex Trautwig

Ryan Tannehill will be listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. The news is expected, as Tannehill was already given a 50/50 shot to start earlier in the week. He had his knee drained twice after suffering a hyperextended knee and deep thigh bruise in Week 8.

Tannehill will be on a short leash, as the team is prepared to put in Matt Moore if he shows any signs of a setback.

Fantasy Impact: The Dolphins are being extra cautious with their prized rookie QB, so don't be surprised if they scratch him altogether and give him another week to heal.

Fantasy owners should probably do the same even if he is active. There's a good chance that Moore will see significant time Sunday. I would just avoid this situation altogether.
