Owen Daniels injury update: Fantasy value returning as he heals

Thomas Campbell-US PRESSWIRE

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels will start for a second straight game after returning from injury. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels will suit up again for a consecutive game following some missed time. Daniels sustained a hip injury, but was tearing it up beforehand. Now that he's returned and is getting healthier, there's reason to believe he will be a factor going forward.

The Texans will line up across the Lions for the first game of Thanksgiving Day. Expect Daniels to be involved against this suspect Detroit pass defense.

Fantasy Analysis: Daniels emerged as a solid fantasy option this year. He is highly involved in the team's passing offense, which is what owners look for in fantasy tight ends. Daniels will primarily be used as a receiver against this Lions D, in which he could go off.

Keep Owen Daniels in your starting lineup for Thursday's match-up and get some points early this week. He is a viable TE1 option.
