Jay Cutler expected to start Week 12: Fantasy implications

Jonathan Daniel

Jay Cutler will start Week 12 for the Bears against the Vikings, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jay Cutler will play Week 12 when the Chicago Bears take on the Minnesota Vikings, sources tell Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Cutler suffered a concussion in Week 10 against the Houston Texans, but has reportedly met all of the league's protocols so far.

Cutler is expected to start after Jason Campbell's ugly outing against the San Francisco 49ers last week. Campbell went 14-for-22 passing for 107 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the loss.

fantasy Impact: Cutler should be safe to start in standard fantasy formats this week, but you will want to keep a close eye on the Bears' injury reports Thursday and Friday to be sure. He has a good matchup, going up against a Vikings defense that has given up 17 passing touchdowns with a league-low five interceptions on the year.
