Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE
Pierre Garcon is active for Thursday's Thanksgiving Day game between the Redskins and the Cowboys. We break down the fantasy implications.
Pierre Garcon is active for Thursday's Thanksgiving Day game between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys. Garcon has been dealing with a foot injury since Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Garcon returned from injury last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but played limited snaps on his way to three receptions for 5 yards. He suffered no setbacks during the win, and is expected to take on a bigger role against the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact: That said, Garcon's foot does not appear to be 100 percent. He is still an iffy play in fantasy leagues until he can prove he has overcome his nagging ailment. For now, you might be better off setting your lineup with Garcon on the bench.
The Redskins don't have many reliable receiving options, so you may want to simply avoid the entire receiving corps in general. They face a Cowboys defense that has allowed just 11 passing touchdowns on the season.
