Felix Jones is active for Thursday's game between the Redskins and the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. We break down the fantasy implications.
Felix Jones is active for the Thanksgiving Day bout between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins. Jones was considered a game-time decision heading into kickoff due to a knee injury suffered last week against the Cleveland Browns.
It is unclear how the Cowboys' coaching staff plans to split carries between Jones and Lance Dunbar with DeMarco Murray out. Dunbar had just five carries for 10 yards in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact: It is still unknown how close Jones is to 100 percent. Still, based on talent alone he is probably the better fantasy play this week than Dunbar. At least Jones has some upside, though there is a chance Dunbar is given a goal-line carry or two.
The Redskins defense is giving up a respectable 4.1 yards per carry on the season, so Jones likely isn't much better than a Flex play on your fantasy team unless injuries have left you really desperate.
