Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE
Matt Schaub helped the Texans win their second overtime game in five days. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Schaub and the Houston Texans had another heart-stopper in Week 12. Against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, Schaub completed 29 of 48 passes for 315 yards, one TD and one INT, good for a 78.0 QB Rating. Schaub found Owen Daniels for a 9-yard score in the second quarter.
The Texans went on to win their second overtime game in less than a week, overcoming the Lions 34-31 in a wild and controversial game.
Fantasy Impact: The extra period gave Schaub a chance to rack up more yards--he has now topped 300 yards in two straight games as the Texans played a combined 10 quarters.
The 10-1 Texans head to Tennessee in Week 13, and Schaub remains a solid, reliable fantasy play.
