Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) is active and will make his return against the Jets on Thanksgiving. We break down the fantasy implications.
New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (active) is officially active for the Week 12 Thanksgiving game against the New York Jets. Hernandez has played only two games ever suffering a sprained ankle back in Week 2. He has been getting limited practice for several weeks now.
Hernandez is expected to be on a limited snap count in Thursday's game.
Fantasy Impact: With Rob Gronkowski (forearm) already out indefinably, Hernandez should be in line for some nice production as Tom Bray's new top target at TE. He's had a disappointing year, but is too talented for fantasy owners to give up on.
Consider him a dice roll tonight as he tries to knock off the rust. He'll be a safer fantasy play down the stretch.
