Wes Welker finally found the end zone on Thanksgiving. We break down the fantasy implications.
After failing to score in four straight games, Wes Welker finally caught a touchdown pass in Week 12 against the Jets. He finished Thanksgiving with seven receptions for 71 yards to go with his lone score.
Welker also saw 10 targets on the night, far more than any other receiver for Tom Brady.
Fantasy Impact: The last four weeks have been relatively mediocre for Welker's standards, but his three-yard touchdown to open up the second quarter put his owners at ease. With Gronk sidelined Welker should continue to be an even bigger part of the Patriots offense.
New England faces Miami in Week 13. Welker had two huge games against the Dolphins last season, and considering their secondary ranks 30th in the league against the pass, he should be in for another big outing.
