LeSean McCoy recovering from concussion: Fantasy Implications

Mike Ehrmann

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is recovering from a concussion. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is still in "phase 1 of recovery" from his concussion, via Jeff McLane. It does not seem like McCoy is likely to suit up this week versus the Carolina Panthers.

Assuming the reps in his place will be tailback Bryce Brown. McCoy has until Monday to be cleared but it's unlikely that he will.

Fantasy Analysis: McCoy has not delivered the kind of output fantasy owners hope for in a high first-round choice. The dreaded concussion will be another setback as well.

When healthy, McCoy is a week to week must-start. He is a very explosive runner with big-play ability, but unfortunately the team as struggled as a whole. LeSean McCoy should be irrelevant his week, so keep him on your bench.
