Frank Gore injury update: Fantasy workhorse probable for Week 12

Ezra Shaw

San Francisco 49ers Frank Gore (wrist, ribs) is probable for Week 12. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore has been listed as probable for Week 12. The Niners' feature back showed up on the team's injury report with wrist and rib injuries. Gore has made the list before but it has not affected his game day status.

Gore will be active and starting for the 49ers when they take on the New Orleans Saints at the Super Dome.

Fantasy Analysis: San Francisco relies on Gore for production and to get things rolling offensively. He is a major part of what the team likes to do on that side of the ball, thus all the touches. Gore has been able to carry the load and looks like one of the best runners in the NFL this year.

He is a threat to score and rack up all-purpose yards. Consider him a RB1 in all fantasy formats. Be sure he is in your lineup versus this Saints D in Week 12.
