Darrius Heyward-Bey injury update: Probable in Week 12, a risky fantasy play

Peter Aiken

Oakland Raiders wide out Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring) is officially probable for Week 12. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders wide out Darrius Heyward-Bey was officially listed as probable for Week 12 with a hamstring injury, DHB was limited earlier in the week but was upgraded to full participation in Friday's session.

On Sunday, the Raiders will square off against the hungry Cincinnati Bengals. It could get ugly for Oakland in this conference fight.

Fantasy Analysis: Some were expecting Heyward-Bey to do some damage this year but it never really happened. Things have not been going well for Oakland and Heyward-Bey has suffered some individual setbacks.

Things will not get any easier for the Raiders pass-catcher this Sunday versus the bengals. The Bengals are thinking playoffs while the Raiders are already thinking about next season. Heyward-Bey is not a reliable fantasy option at this point -- not even as a flex.
