The Cleveland Browns host a Pittsburgh Steelers squad in Week 12 that is dealing with issues at quarterback and question marks at running back. Both teams bring fantasy weapons to the table, but who knows what some of these issues could mean long term. Fantasy football playoffs are approaching, which means every week is a vital matchup. The Steelers find themselves in a sticky situation with grizzled veteran Charlie Batch in the starting lineup after injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich. This raises all sorts of questions about a passing game that may also be without Antonio Brown, who is listed as questionable after a week of limited practices. You can go with a guy like Mike Wallace or Heath Miller, but lower your expectations.
As for the running game? Rashard Mendenhall is back, but Jonathan Dwyer appears to have firmly worked himself into the rotation. That of course means we are looking at a platoon. Dwyer would appear to be the hotter hand at the moment.
The Browns get to face a Steelers defense that is really nowhere near as good as it has been in years past. Trent Richardson is a must-start in his rookie season and could be in line for a solid performance in a game that could be decided on the ground. There are enough quarterback issues on both sides of the ball to feel comfortable rolling with Richardson.
