Percy Harvin has been ruled out for Sunday's game between the Vikings and the Bears due to an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Percy Harvin will miss Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears, the Vikings announced. Harvin did not travel with the team due to a serious ankle injury suffered in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.
He was listed as doubtful on the Vikings' injury report Friday, but was unsurprisingly downgraded on Saturday. He did not practice once during the week.
Fantasy Impact: The new is a big blow to Harvin owners who had become accustomed to regular solid fantasy outings. With fantasy playoffs set to start as soon as this week, it's hard to tell what to make of Harvin's long-term prospects. He is too important to let loose on waivers. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that he will return to form before the end of your fantasy season.
