The Falcons are having a hard time stopping Doug Martin already. We break down the fantasy implications.
The Buccaneers are letting Doug Martin go to work early, and it's paying off against the Falcons. The rookie has six carries for 25 yards and a touchdown midway through the second quarter.
Now Martin is closing in on the rookie rushing record in Tampa.
Doug Martin now has 2nd-most rushing yards by rookie in TB franchise history. He trails only Cadillac Williams (1178, '05) #ATLvsTB

Fantasy Impact: Martin had a 42-yard reception negated by multiple penalties. He caught a dump off from Josh Freeman, brushed off a defender in the backfield and nearly took it the distance. His owners are surely frustrated by that news, but he should be able to make up for it the way he's playing today.
Considering the Falcons are moving the ball well, the Bucs might be playing catch-up often, leaving Martin to benefit.
