Jacquizz Rodgers scored the first touchdown of the day for the Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jacquizz Rodgers is making a strong case for more playing time already in Week 12. He has six carries for 33 and a touchdown, his first rushing score of the season. He bounced outside from five yards out to put Atlanta up 10-7 early in the second quarter.
Michael Turner is already struggling (big surprise), but the Falcons look determined to keep the ground game going. Rodgers is in line for a lot of touches today.
Fantasy Impact: He hasn't rushed for more than 60 yards this season, so Rodgers is well on pace to break that mark. Atlanta looks confident with him running the ball right now against the Buccaneers No. 1 ranked rushing defense.
Turner has five carries for 11 yards, and it's been painful to watch, again. Rodgers is clearly more versatile, and looks flex-worthy with this kind of production.
