Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman had one of his worst fantasy performances of the season as the Bucs fell to the Atlanta Falcons, 24-23. Freeman went 19-for-30 with 256 yards and no touchdowns.
Sunday marked the first game this season that Freeman failed to throw a touchdown pass, he had thrown at least two touchdowns in each of the last six weeks coming into this game.
Fantasy Impact: Freeman looked like he was on his way to becoming an elite fantasy quarterback, but his performance this week gives us pause. Most likely it was just a down week for Freeman and hopefully it does not become a trend.
I'd expect him to bounce back and find the end zone next week, but he doesn't get an easy matchup on the road against the Denver Broncos.
