Adrian Peterson rushed for 108 yards on 18 carries against the Bears on Sunday, but could not find the end zone for the first time in five games. We break down the fantasy implications.
Adrian Peterson rushed for 108 yards on 18 carries during the Minnesota Vikings' loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The game was his fifth straight rushing for 100 yards, and his sixth overall on the season.
Peterson did not find the end zone, however, after four straight games with at least one touchdown. He did add 30 yards on six receptions, however.
Fantasy Impact: If you own Peterson in a PPR league, his unusually high number of receptions helped make up for his lack of a score. He remains one of the elite fantasy running backs this season, especially considering that his big numbers came against a defense that had been giving up just 4.2 yards per carry on the year.
The Green Bay Packers are giving up just 4.1 yards per carry on the season, but there is no reason to bet against Peterson at this point. Keep him in your starting lineup next week.
