Drew Brees is having a mostly solid day, but a pick six at the end of the half has soiled his fantasy value.
New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees is having his usual monster game in Week 12, if not for a critical mistake against the 49ers. At halftime, Brees has completed 14-of-20 passes for 112 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Brees' only real mistake was a crucial pick six at the end of the half, as the Niners rallied to a 14-14 tie at the half.
Fantasy Impact: Brees is one of the few fantasy players that can be considered "matchup-proof", and he is proving it so far, minus the one huge mistake. The game is still close, so i don't expect the Saints to dial back on the pass game yet.
Brees is still an elite QB and is rewarding fantasy players so far.
