Colin Kaepernick has done a solid job in the first start of his NFL career.
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is doing a fine job in his first NFL start. At the time of this writing, Kaepernick has completed 9-of-15 passes for 163 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the New Orleans Saints. He has added 27 yards on five carries, leading the team in rushing yards.
The Niners lead the Bears 27-14 thanks to two pick sixes.
Fantasy Impact: There's still a lot of football left to play, but Kaep has been everything the Niners could hope for. Aside from the interception, he's been just as effective as a second-year QB could be.
Kaep was the top fantasy sleeper this week, and he has delivered. Congratulations if you plucked him off the wire.
