St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is having a huge day on the ground. We break down the fantasy implications.

Steven Jackson is having his best day of the season thus far as the St. Louis Rams lead the Arizona Cardinals 31-17. Jackson has rushed 24 times for 139 yards.

This is just the second time Jackson has broken the 100-yard barrier this season, but he has been hot lately. Jackson has put forth his three best performances of the season in the Rams' last three games and seems to have taken firm control of the featured back position in St. Louis.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson started the season slow, not rushing for more than 76 yards in a game through the first eight weeks of the season. Since the Week 9 bye, Jackson has looked a different player, rushing for 101 and 81 yards in the two previous games.

Despite not finding the end zone Jackson has shown that he can still make an impact in fantasy football. He seems to have found a spot in a starting fantasy lineup, but he has a tough matchup next week against the San Francisco 49ers.
