Drew Brees throws two pick-6's in Week 12: Fantasy Implications

Chris Graythen

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was limited in Week 12. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was limited in Week 12. On Sunday versus the San Francisco 49ers, the Saints' franchise QB threw not one, but two pick-6's. The 49ers defense was relentless versus Brees, causing him to have a less than stellar afternoon.

Brees and the Saints wound up falling to the 49ers at the Superdome.

Fantasy Analysis: Drew Brees is a lock to start each and every week in fantasy football. Along with his pair of interceptions, he did throw 3 touchdowns. However, his yards were nothing to write home about. Brees did not reach his fantasy ceiling versus the Niners but it was not a complete bust.

The Saints' signal-caller should have some better weeks ahead. Continue to give Brees the nod as your QB1.
